CLEAN TRUCK CONFERENCE HELPS FIGHT FUEL COSTS: WILL GIVE AWAY 25 FREE REGISTRATIONS TO FLEETS

Sweepstakes winners to experience world’s largest hybrid and electric truck and bus event, and ride and drive the most advanced trucks on the planet

PASADENA, Calif. – High fuel prices may be assaulting US fleet operators, but the nation’s leading clean truck consortium is launching a major counter-offensive to help fleets out. Together with creating the nation’s largest conference on fuel-saving hybrid and electric trucks crafted to support fleets - the 11th annual Hybrid Truck Users Forum (HTUF) National Conference, in Baltimore, Md. - it has also created a sweepstakes offer to help 25 lucky, qualifying fleet professionals* to attend HTUF free of charge.

All attendees will be armed with the latest data and findings on efficient trucks they can use to fight high fuel prices today, and can kick the tires of the world’s most advanced medium- and heavy-duty electric and hybrid vehicles available, hear about the latest state and federal funding initiatives for advanced fuel vehicles and reduce petroleum consumption. And 25 fleet pros who register will be in the running to attend for free!

This year’s HTUF conference takes place October 10-13, 2011, at the Baltimore Convention Center and focuses on expanding commercial and military fleet knowledge about the leading-edge of clean, fuel-saving trucks and buses. To enter the sweepstakes, qualified fleet managers* simply visit htuf2011.org and click on Win Free Fleet Registrations.

*Qualified fleet managers only. To qualify, entrants must be a principal owner, co-owner or operator with direct purchase responsibility for a fleet of 10 or more vehicles. No purchase or conference registration necessary. Early registration is encouraged. Previously registered winners will be reimbursed. Winners will be notified via email no later than August 24th.

Annually, the HTUF conference draws hundreds of attendees representing fleets, truck and bus makers, technology leaders and military and government officials. HTUF is the nation’s leading program driving production and use of medium- and heavy-duty hybrid and high-efficiency trucks and buses. It was founded by CALSTART and the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center’s National Automotive Center and is operated by CALSTART under contract to the U.S. Army.
